Dagartech Installs 1250kVA Genset at Rainha Green Logistics Park (Portugal)
The Dagartech solution has a Cummins engine and a Stamford alternator
By the end of 2023, Portugal will have a new logistics park of more than 112,000 square meters, Rainha Green Logistics Park, designed following strict standards of energy efficiency and sustainability in the supply and construction chain, in order to reduce CO2 emissions.
The main requirement of this project was to guarantee the operational availability of the installation, exceeding 24 hours of autonomy at 100% load in the event of eventual failures in the electrical network, therefore, with the aim of guaranteeing the supply of energy in a constant and Without interruptions, Dagartech has installed a 1,250 kVA power failure generator set in the first completed building of this green logistics platform.
The Dagartech solution has a Cummins engine and a Stamford alternator. The generator is equipped with an engine heating system, to guarantee a quick start of the machine, as well as an automatic transfer system with which to feed the equipment from external tanks. On the other hand, it incorporates an integrated fuel tank of 500 liters capacity.
The facility has a 6,500-liter mother tank which, together with these 500 liters, is capable of guaranteeing that the autonomy of the machine reaches 24 hours of operation.
